Registered Dietitian with Eating Disorder Experience

Duties and responsibilities
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and care to help patients achieve individualized health goals.
- Conduct nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Counsel and educate patients and families on nutrition principles, meal planning, and behavioral goals.
- Develop educational materials and tools to support patient understanding and engagement.
- Maintain professional credentials and continuing education requirements through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or Public Health.
- Completed a dietetic internship accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Hold an active registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Possess experience in outpatient nutrition care or demonstrate strong foundational skills as a new graduate.
- Experience in eating disorders is preferred but not required.
Hours and Locations
- Full-time, remote position with office hours Monday to Friday, either 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (AZ Time).
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu planning and translating nutrition recommendations into food-based plans.
- Provide individualized and group nutrition counseling and education.
- Offer effective care to patients with specialized needs, including chronic conditions, co-morbidities, or eating disorders.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare teams and patients.
- Communicate clearly and effectively through both written and verbal communication.
- Exhibit proficiency in basic computer skills and documentation systems.
- Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.
Pay
- $58,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
