What are you most passionate about professionally?
- From a Health at Every Size approach, food is viewed as a tool for nourishment, not a way to control weight. Food has the power to support health, energy, and well-being at any body size. Different foods provide different benefits-such as supporting digestion, heart health, blood sugar balance, mood, and overall vitality—and ALL foods can fit within a balanced, flexible pattern of eating.
- Bringing awareness to the impact of food means learning how foods make your body feel, honoring hunger and fullness, and choosing foods that support both physical health and satisfaction. Rather than focusing on restriction or weight loss, a HAES-informed approach encourages trust in the body, respect for body diversity, and sustainable habits that promote health, enjoyment, and well-being across the lifespan.

Philosophy as a Dietitian
Food is one of the most complex relationships we have in life. It is deeply connected to our culture, emotions, memories, health, and sense of identity. As a dietitian, I believe this relationship is not something to “fix” or control, but something to understand, respect, and embrace.
